Divisions

U19

We shall witness the first U19 tournament for Asian Underwater Hockey Cup in 2024.  The young athletes representing 5 nations will compete in a 4 versus 4 tournament in mixed gender teams.

    • 4 versus 4;

    • 7-minute halves with 2 minutes break during round robin;

    • 12-minute halves from elimination to final matches.

    • Each nation is allowed to register up to 10 athletes;

    • There will be 4 players and 4 substitutes during the match with 2 reserves sitting out.

Elite

The Elite divisions for Women and Men/Open will compete in the 6 versus 6 format at the 8th AUHC.  A total of 15 teams from both divisions will experience two and a half days of exciting round-robin competition followed by a day of intense elimination and final matches.  All games will adhere to the standard 15 minute halves with a 3-minute break in between.

    • 6 versus 6

    • Separate Women and Men/Open divisions

    • Two halves of 15 minutes with a 3-minute break in between

    • Other international rules apply

    • Women - expecting one group of round robin before advancing to semi-finals

    • Men - expecting two groups of round robin before semi-finals

    • Each nation can register up to 12 athletes per team per division;

    • 6 + 4 playing during each match with 2 reserves sitting out.

Master

A first for AUHC during this 8th edition, the competition for the Master Division titles will be staged in 2 separate categories - Women and Men/Open - and by 8 teams of masters of the sport.

    • 6 versus 6;

    • 15-minute halves with 3 minute break in between;

    • Other international rules apply;

    • Women - expecting one group of double round robin before advancing to semi-finals;

    • Men/Open - expecting one group of round robin before semi-finals.

    • Each nation can register up to 12 athletes per team per division;

    • 6 + 4 playing during each match with 2 reserves sitting out.
